My character with eyes. I have had to redo the rig from yesterday, he was working fine until i opened it on my laptop and the feet messed up totally. I tried to redo it this morning and yes i have to redo it yet again..the joys.

Hi All

ok so nows the time to scream with how much work i have to do still. I was off last week and dont have the tinternet so was a great week for getting things done!! This week is serious business. I am moving house on Saturday so along with cleaning, packing and sorting myself out I need to get on with this project AND a sting I am making with Janey. I'm pretty sure i have wrote 'I will get lots done this week' in all of my blogs but I do need to be serious this week as time is counting down and I have two interviews to prepare for as well.

The character is the main focus as I am still having issues with this, the environment is sorted its just the schtupido person that is going to be in it! Glad I didnt apply for Character Design, or maybe i actually should have to get better at it! Happy days.

Because for some reason yesterday it didnt work when I tried to make the axis straight it took a few minutes to place it on the table under the window. I had to keep going up then down then sideways, was a little annoying but ah well. I am hoping once the textures are done you will be able to see it a little better as the bottom disappears a bit into the table top.

Todays Lesson

Well today was interesting doing the explosion technique. I thought it was kind of funny we are being taught this now because I used this effect in first year for my E4 ident. It is a fun one to use and was good making a phone and lap top and trying it out.

This week I dont think I have put down my plan for the week:

From now until Monday i plan on working on my character to get him finalised
Next week i plan on finishing the assets and then moving on to textures.

I also am going to work on an ident with janey to build up our portfolio, we are attempting zbrush so that should be interesting!

Another weekend over

Well thats another weekend over, feel very behind on work, which is not a surprise. I think i've set myself some big goals for this final animation, testing my skills big time. I just hope I can pull it all off. Means from tomorrow till hand in i will be busy busy busy. I got a letter from Teesside Uni to go for an interview on March 14th and also an interview with Northumbria so need to do something for a portfolio too :/ Argh.

I think I am going to try make a 3d model of my boyfriend, like of his head to get used to creating faces and animating them, seeing as how I didnt complete the one from last year that we did.

Ok, so another night of work...hope everyone enjoyed their weekends!
