Things from the TV over the summer - influences

Pop tarts, not only a great snack but they have some pretty good ads too. I liked this one that i saw over the summer. I was interested in what they did to get the houses to 'pop' into bright colourful houses. I will look into this further on the tinternet.

I have just come back from spending two months with three little kids, this show Backyardagins was on EVERYDAY. I actually liked the simplicity of this, the characters look like they are basic shapes which can be done in cinema 4d. I added this clip to the blog as i think it helps for when i'm dong my characters. To help with shapes and also with the movements of them. I think i prefer doing things aimed at kids as i like the colours and simple storys/characters, I do tend to doodle kiddy like characters so think thats something i might look further into for the future.

I also saw a few wrigleys gum ads, i love the charactes in these commercials - i have added one below but there are ALOT more on Youtube.

On Teletoon there quite a few cartoons that i hadnt seen before on which i watched over the summer. One being called Bobs Burgers, i thought it was funny, the characters i wasnt too fond of but the story itself was funny and made me forget about the actual drawings.

This car ad i thought was a really good example of morphing. It looks really neat, and hopefully at some point this year i can look more into morphing big items (such as real cars!)

This is an ad for Tootsie Pop, i liked this as i have a tortoise as one of my characters and thought this may have with reference when i come to make my character.
