I have changed the patio a little bit....We are now thinking of giving the pups a bit more space so I will be adding a fence just the edge of the grassy area, a metal one I think so we can still see the puppies and in case they decide they like the taste of wood and start to chew!! I am thinking thats going to take some time to create, using splines and what not so I wont be starting that tonight, I just changed the decking for now.

Speaking of splines, that is what I will be working on next for my animationioneh! I need to create some moving colourful lines and shapes so will be trying different splines out. woooo, fun you say, of course :o

I added the gates last night and tried out the lights today. The reason behind the layout is because we plan on breeding the lovely little Roxanne

Not the best photo but atleast you can see what she looks like, she attacked me because she doesnt like me being on the laptop. She wants all my attention, she jumped on me and this was the half second she stopped trying to lick me!! I also took pictures of our actual back garden so you can see what it looks like and to see what i'm working with :) Will upload those when I find the camera lead.

Something else i've worked on today - trying to design our back garden. Its just concrete slabs so I thought I would try and create something better!!

Well I have 27 seconds of my 3 minute animation and only 5 weeks left to finish it!! Well I fib a wee bit as the 27 seconds are just test videos, but I am happy with how they have turned out so I think I will be doing the finalization for them in the next day.

Since i've got home from college I havent done too much on my actual project. I have been trying out different textures on cinema 4d. The dog was getting on my nerves so have spend most of the night telling her off, she is now snoring her head off, i'm sure she is doing it on purpose!

This is one of the tests I have done tonight...ps its a rubbish scene, only took about 10 - 15 minutes to create so dont pay attention to the easy shapes hah...just screen texture :D

thank heaven its friday!!

Today was a good change having a speaker come in and get his insight into the professional world. I think doing illustrations in watercolour is quite risky as you cant just go over it like acrylics. I know I wouldnt be able to it, I change my mind too many times in a second nevermind during a project!

Today after Paul Hess did his presentation I worked on the lighting for my scene. I downloaded some IES lights as suggested by Paul on Wednesday but when I wasnt really too happy with the ones I tried so I tried just the regular, good ol', light tool. This is what I ended up with...

8 hours on.....

8 hours on and i've got 29 seconds of the test shots of the bedroom. Still need to add light though and curtains, its 20 past nine and think its time to stop as my heads a lil done in :/

I was given a tip from one of the students at Teesside Uni, not to upload any of the final project as some festivals wont accept them if they have already been seen by people so I am keeping the videos under wraps for now kids :)
